What types of cranes does Wimac Crane manufacture?
Wimac designs and manufactures the full range of industrial lifting equipment: overhead cranes (single girder, double girder, underslung), gantry cranes (single girder, double girder, L-type, semi-gantry), jib cranes, heavy-duty process cranes, explosion-proof (ATEX/IECEx) cranes, plus end carriages, wire rope hoists, electrical panels and load-handling attachments — all built in our Konya, Turkey facility.
What is the difference between single girder and double girder overhead cranes?
A single girder overhead crane uses one main bridge beam with the hoist running underneath — lighter, more economical and ideal for capacities up to around 20 t. A double girder overhead crane uses two parallel beams with the hoist running on top, providing higher capacity (up to 320 t), greater hook height, longer spans and a higher FEM duty class — the preferred choice for continuous heavy-duty industrial service.
What load capacities are available?
Wimac cranes are manufactured in a broad capacity range — from 250 kg workshop jib cranes up to 320 t double girder overhead cranes for steel mills, foundries and metallurgical plants — the typical service envelope for our process cranes. Every project is engineered to the customer's specific span, working class (FEM/ISO), duty group, lift height and site conditions.
Which certifications and standards do Wimac cranes meet?
Every Wimac crane is designed and verified against the leading international standards: ISO, CE, DIN, EAC (Eurasian conformity) and FEM classification — with ATEX and IECEx certification on our explosion-proof models. Full certification documentation and factory test reports are delivered with every crane.
Do you provide installation, maintenance and after-sales service?
Yes — Wimac provides complete after-sales support: site installation and commissioning, periodic maintenance and inspection, technical service and certified spare parts supplied directly from our Konya facility. Service is delivered both inside Turkey and worldwide through our agent network in 16+ countries.
